Aguntum Archaeological Museam | © Verein Curatorium pro Agunto gical Museum and the Alpinarium Galtür. In their architecture both museums and the documentation centre reflect the content that is being conveyed. The façade of the Aguntum excavation site near Lienz - its spacious presentation area displays historic objects found there - is a reference to the ground plan of an atrium house found on the site. The Alpinarium Galtür documents the powers of nature and, as a massive wall, protects the village of Galtür from avalanches. Here, too, as in so many places throughout the Tirol, architecture and landscape are closely connected. Further info 17
